Building Blocks

The way I have been taught to live
has blocked who I truly am.
Instead I have been taught,
to live on others words
for the sake of my own importance.

I have been blocked from learning
who 'me' really is,
by simply blocking my freedoms.

I have been blocked
from gaining wisdom,
by blocking the mistakes I could make.

All these blocks
have resulted in greater blockage,
the blocks I place on myself.

These blocks I use
out of fear for myself,
the fears of my own failure.

All the blocks
have lead to the greatest blockage.
The block stuck in my head.
